If magic and dragons are your things then this is definitely your series. But a caution though it has 5 books total in the series, so if you've got time and interest I will give you a heads up. This story directly hooks you from the start. I couldn't stop reading after reading the first book. I took less than 5 days to complete it.
FIREBOLT #1
This is the first book in the story. the story starts on the night everything starts to happen. A normal 16-year old named Elena wakes up to find her dad wrapping all the things up for them to leave the house. They've been doing that every 3-4 months. But shes fed up with all this. But that night the normal drive out of the town turns into a chase. a chase that involves lightning wielding and fire-breathing dragons and turns out her father is a dragon too. who magically transforms and fights with the evil dragon unfortunately he dies, but fortunately, she is saved by Matt who is a dragon too and takes her to the council beyond the wall into the world of dragons and dragonians. Dragonians are riders who claim a dragon. They have some specific abilities too. Elena new to this world is awestruck, terrified and sad. She is born with a mark, a dark one at that. The survival of her into this new world with the new school The Dragonian Academy. She will fight with everything, try to prove herself, go through the situations she never has been before. The story is exciting, thrilling.
The fictitious place would be hard to imagine but, Adrienne Woods has taken care with explicit details. we all can imagine the dragons, the academy, the wall, and everything else. The writing style is awesome. You fall in love with the characters and hate some with passion. This book keeps you on your toes. I don't think there is any part of the book, that is even a little boring to lose your interest.
For anyone who wants to read, I will give you ten thousand heads up. That is how much I love the book.....
